Stoneware Bowl – Double Dragonfly Sgraffito, Underglaze Design

This wheel-thrown stoneware bowl was handmade by Kim Filiaggi and features a vibrant double-dragonfly design illustrated with layered underglaze and detailed sgraffito work by Elizabeth Schowachert. The warm gradient wings in yellows and oranges contrast beautifully with the carved linework and cool greens of the body. The symmetry and fine detail give the piece a bold, expressive presence.

A clear, food-safe glaze finishes the interior, while the exterior is kept clean and natural, highlighting the hand-thrown form. Designed for daily use yet artful enough to display, it embodies our approach to everyday ceramics elevated.
